Uh. We should start now. And our topic is a time uh I had compassion from and to others. So first of all, let’s us see. What is compassion? According to the definition from a university, “to be compassionate is more than just feel sympathy or show concern. It… more than simply telling someone that you are care at the same time. So, to be compassionate is to deeply feel for another person as they experience the ups and downs associated with their life. And to be compassion, we should uh show our care by being there before they even ask for our cares.

So, to further explain this concept, I will intro… uh, I will share two personal experiences with you. So, the first one is… I had the compassion from others. It was a time I… had my exchange in Finland. And I was having my tra… uh travelling. But my arranged travelling plan was disturbed for some reasons. So, I have to back to my host university as soon as possible. However, I don’t have enough ca… cash to buy a ticket. Because in Finland, if you booked the ticket in advance, about one week, it will be much cheaper. At that time, uh I had to but the tickets that is… that was more expansive about four times. And, uh, so, I was anxious and nervous. I don’t know what to do. I just uh went to a shop and told the whole thing to the shop owners. And she saw my… anxieties, and try to comfortable me, uh try to comfort me and she gets me some cash and even a cinnamon rolls, and try to help me to buy the electro tickets, on the cellphones. Because it was Finnish, so it was very hard for me to understand.

Ah, so the second experience was happened in Hong Kong and I am going to talk about the compassion I had from and to others… So, uh, I will talk about the second experience. Uh, it’s, I had, it’s about the time I had compassion to and from others. So, there were two firefighters was waiting in line at a fast-food restaurant. And I was there uh to buy some food myself, too. But suddenly, their fire truck parked outside alarmed. And as they turned to leave, I just handed my received food to them, then I go back in line to reorder another food. And I was praised for this selfless act from… the managers. And she refused to take my money for the reordered food because… she had the same compassion for me, um for my behaviours and to these… uh the firefighters. So that’s all. Thank you.
